Camera Angles is partially based on the experiences of the acute onset of mental illness. But also exploring Samuel Becket's theatre piece Krap's Last Tape, an audio personal history. This explores personal history by a near video diary record of a fabricated past. A video record of a withdrawal from reality, whatever that really is, an experience by turns fascinating and appalling. This was Arts Council Of England Funded and West Midlands Arts funded
Technically it was my first experience of non-linear editing and so something of a technical nightmare. The piece was shot on a mix of 16mm and the then very new mini DV.
