Sent To Coventry. (1992)

Sent To Coventry is a ten minute film shot on Hi8 and Super Eight film. It was edited on High Band U-matic and Beta SP. 

     This video was made as part of the first year of Rirst Cut a scheme for the broadcast of short videos on Central TV. Run in conjunction with West Midlands Arts. The piece was not actually broadcast as it was not deemed commercial enough.   

     The video takes the form of an animated autobiography conceived as a series of animated post cards. It aims to tell the story of a life, combining it with a social history/guided tour of Coventry since the second world war.
