IMAGES OF HOME

It’s a story about home, identity and social conscience, everyone need somewhere to call home.

The protagonist’s (Lotte) partner of twenty years has died, she’s been here for twenty years and has many friends here now. Should she go home to Germany? Or should she stay in Britain? She tends to think of the UK as home.

She has no children but would like to have had some now, it would have given her another anchor.

She discovers things about her ex partner as she goes through the story.

Her current main work as a photographer is to take images of homes, home in the abstract sense as well as the bricks and morter sense.

She feels that the things that meant so much to them in the eighties in social action politics have been betrayed now.
