A
man who has become successful arrives at the car park of a public park in the
West Midlands. He is revisiting an old childhood haunt he has not seen for a
long time.
He starts to walk down the path, through the park,
past an old church and a children’s playground. He stops and looks at the
children playing on the playground and remembers happy times, it evokes some
memories of his youth.
In the distance can be seen the ruins of a castle.
Voices from a troubled past speak, notably a doctor. The man walks round the
castle remembering. Documenting part of the process of coming to terms with a
childhood spent in special schools.
